Our History

MOE Hospitality began over a decade ago when company President Kaur & Singh acquired the 60 room La Quinta in Rockwall, Texas. The results were so positive in turn Kaur & Singh acquired the 129 room La Quinta Inn and Suites in Euless Texas at DFW Airport and the 110 room La Quinta Inn and Suites Pine Bluff, AR. By now, the foundation was being laid for major expansion plans. Over the next few years, the company built and acquired hotels in the IHG, Choice, La Quinta, Best Western, Hyatt, Hilton and Marriott brands.

Raj Kaur

CEO & Founder

Raj Kaur is a native of Northern India,she completed her studies when she came to the West Coast and worked in the medical field. Mrs. Kaur, married Mr. Singh when she joined a very successful franchise business with 7-11 Stores. Mrs. Kaur relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex for favorable economy and business climate and moved into the hospitality business with her first hotels the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Rockwall and the La Quinta Inn in Euless, TX. With these first hotels MOE Hospitality was born.

Clay Mangat

CFO

Clay Mangat, a Washington born who was raised in a family-owned and operated hospitality business while completing education in Texas. As he swiftly acquired knowledge in the hospitality industry and assisted in the construction of first Tru by Hilton in Texas. Now, as Chief Financial Officer, Clay Mangat manages new development, construction, renovation, and operations as well as debt and equity. He also plays an integral role in guiding investment and business development strategies.

Jag Batth

Director Of Facilities

Jag Batth – VP of Projects & Facilities Jag Batth migrated to the west coast where he finished his studies and later moved to Texas. He joined the hospitality business in 2006 with the La Quinta Inn Euless, TX. Jag is responsible for overseeing the development and renovation of various hotel and involved in design, architect, engineering and subcontractors for the firm’s portfolio, He ensures that projects stay on budget and on schedule while working with hotel operations to minimize interruption to services or guest scores.
